About Government and Agency Loans

Government and Agency Loans are your traditional loans which include FHA, Conventional, VA, and USDA

Basic requirements outlined below

FHA

  • Primary residences only

  • Single Family, 2-4 Units, Manufactured Homes, and more eligible

  • Minimum 580 credit score required but can go as low as 500

  • Minimum 3.5% down payment, must be from own funds, gift from a family member, or in the form of assistance or grant

  • Many down payment assistance and grants available for up to 101.5% CLTV to help with down payment/closing costs

  • FHA loans are generally less strict on their credit and debt-to-income ratio requirements

  • No credit history or score? We can build and use a non-traditional credit profile

  • Myth: FHA is only for first time home buyers

Conventional

  • Primary residences, second homes, and investment properties

  • Single Family, 2-4 Units, Manufactured Homes, and more eligible

  • Minimum 620 credit score required

  • Minimum 3% down payment (for eligible primary residence transactions only; ask about down payment requirements for your scenario), must be from own funds, gift from a family member, or in the form of assistance or grant

  • Many down payment assistance and grants available

  • Conventional loans are usually more favorable to stronger credit score applicants, let's check your scenario

ABOUT WHO I AM

I’m a proud Houston, Texas native and graduate from the University of Houston where I earned a degree in Finance. I started my career as an analyst for a real estate firm focused in multifamily investing and property management. My responsibilities included working with property management, lenders, servicers, investors, and equity partners, as well as handling acquisitions, revenue management, and financial analysis for a growing portfolio with a valuation over $650MM.

This experience instilled the passion I have for real estate and finance but I still desired to make a more personal impact so, I transitioned to mortgage lending where I've been able to combine my expertise and help people achieve homeownership.


I work with buyers of all types all over Texas and there’s nothing more fulfilling than guiding people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Something I’m proud to say is - because of the way we operate and the experience I bring, I've been able to help many individuals that almost lost an opportunity at homeownership for various reasons close on their home. My primary goal is to make homeownership achievable whether that's figuring the numbers out or making a customized game plan.
